Ed Ruth

Stepping into an MMA fight is hard work but Ed Ruth made the transition from collegiate wrestling to MMA look easy when he rattled off 4 KO/TKO victories in his first 4 professional fights.  Maybe that’s where his EZ nickname came from.  Prior to his professional fighting career, Ruth was a four-time All American and four-time Big Ten National Champion while wrestling for Penn State.  EZ has compiled an 8-3 record in Bellator so far.  He’s taken a bit of a hiatus from the cage of late while working as assistant coach for the University of Illinois wrestling team.
