We are excited to announce the release of our latest line of apparel, inspired by none other than Marco Ruas, one of the most legendary MMA fighters of all time.
If you're a long-time MMA fan, you already know. For those who don't, let us give a quick rundown. Ruas, also known as "The King of the Streets," is a Brazilian mixed martial artist who made his name in the early days of the UFC and Pride FC.
Ruas was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and started training in martial arts at a young age. He was a pioneer of the vale tudo fighting style, which incorporates elements of Brazilian jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai. Ruas quickly made a name for himself in the Brazilian martial arts scene, and made his UFC debut at UFC 7 in 1995. In 1998 he made his PRIDE FC debut at PRIDE 2.
Ruas competed in both the UFC and Pride FC, two of the biggest and most prestigious MMA promotions in the world. He was known for his technical proficiency, brutal leg kicks, and his ability to dominate opponents both on the ground and standing up. Over the course of his career, he racked up an impressive record of 8 wins and 3 losses. Watch him chop down Paul Varelans below:
To honor the legacy of this incredible fighter, we've created a new line of t-shirts and hooded sweatshirts featuring Ruas' name and image. These shirts are made from high-quality materials and are perfect for anyone who wants to show their love for MMA and Brazilian vale tudo.
